DESCRIPTION:Register \nDescription: As the District of Columbia and its Medicaid Managed Care Plans continue to build toward an integrated health system that delivers whole-person care\, value-based payment (VBP) is becoming an increasingly large segment of a Medicaid providers’ financial stability\, including behavioral health providers. Achieving success in VBP arrangements requires understanding the payment mechanisms\, how Behavioral health care fits into those payment mechanisms\, the quality metrics in arrangements for Behavioral Health providers\, and how to work as an integrated primary and behavioral health care team to target increased performance to improve care and outcomes and earn incentive payments. \nIn this webinar\, participants will learn about the impact of behavioral health conditions on physical health and wellness\, as well as the role of integrated care and VBP on mitigating cost and quality of care.
